A little late on this post, but we made it to Kerri & Dean’s place in Peace River. A slight change in weather and temperature from the recent 2 weeks here, with it dropping to between 4 and 8 degrees at night time. A much welcomed break from the hot temps for sure.
Dayton and Emily’s wedding was very nice. We took a rock to the windshield on the way to photos, which has started spreading. Then after photos we made a “quick” trip back to the trailer to waste some time. But, on the way back to the wedding a car was getting towed on the bridge, and we git stuck waiting. We made lightning speed to the ceremony, and made it with time to spare. (It’s not a wedding unless we almost miss it).
The JP must have called Dayton ‘Dalton’ at least 4 or 5 times during the ceremony, but I guess it’ll be something they can laugh about down the road. Other than that, everything went really well.
