Although we probably should have played the full 18 hole course at Bootleg, for Dad & Esther the 9-hole is about the perfect amount of golf in 1 day for them. They call it the Rec-9 at Bootleg, and I would suspect typically it’s a fairly nice course, the greens right now were it terrible shape. Not sure if was airated, or they were doing something special to them but they were really bumpy and not easily playable.
In the end, we had a great time at the course and someday I’ll be back to play for full 18.
