This morning we woke up to a pretty chilly trailer.  We ran out of propane the night before last, and waited until Princeton to fill the tanks.  That was a bad decision as the only place in town was already closed by the time we got there last night.  Rob went to the station this morning and they were still closed, but fortunately we were able to get them done later in the day.

We did a round of golf before noon so Rob could redeem himself after his less than great performance yesterday.  I bundled up in layers and a blanket, and Rob had a better game this time around.  It did start to rain a bit while we were out, but it wasn’t too bad.

Afterwards we grabbed the dogs and went for a drive to Manning Park.  It’s about an hour from Princeton towards Hope.  The weather was super rainy, so riding our bikes was out.

We checked out a campground in the park, then drove up to Cascade Lookout.  It went high above the park, up a road full of switchbacks.  The views were amazing up there, but it was windy and freezing cold!  I said if it was any colder I’m sure it would have been snowing.  It would have been great to visit on a clear day.

On the way back we spotted a truck on the side of the road with his hood up. Rob felt bad that we didn’t stop, so we went back to see if the guy needed help. He said his truck broke down and wouldn’t start again, and he was in an area with no cell service.  We offered him a ride to Princeton, but he wanted to stay with his truck because he was in the process of moving, and all his stuff in it.  He popped his canopy door to show us, I guess in case we didn’t believe him.  We went ahead and called a tow truck once we were in service again.  Hopefully it showed up for the poor guy.

For the rest of tonight we’re just hanging out in the trailer with the pups.  Gotta get that heat going now that we have propane!
