Today the 4 of us jumped in the truck, along with our 4 dogs, and did the northern loop through Yellowstone park. Although there isn’t quite as much to see overall, we did make stops at a couple of waterfalls and Mammoth Hot Springs. Mammoth Hot Springs was actually really cool, with boardwalk trails, and so much calcium from the hot water that it looked like snow from a distance.
We saw some elk and buffalo, and some of the landscape looked a lot like home. Other parts looked quite sandy and reminded us of Utah.
