We arrived on Friday at the Town & Country Campground, which is located near Tinker town, and is just on the outskirts of Winnipeg near the perimeter. We think this is the campground we stayed in many years ago, however it seems to look different, and we don’t recall it being quite so close to Tinkertown and the Water park next door. It turned out the water park has an Adult after-hours event every night with music playing until 1AM. All we heard was the thumping bass – sort of ironic considering all the loud car stereos I used to have. Now all I want is peace and quiet at bed time to sleep. I guess that’s a sign ofgetting old.
All around, the campground is good. Our events planned are to visit family on Saturday, with a trip out to Grand Beach. And on Sunday, we will tour around a bit to look at Winnipeg, followed by another visit with Rick & Barb.
