On the second day of our time in Winnipeg we just toured around the city a bit, including stops at Ikea (we visit them all whenever we see them). We checked out the old neighborhood in East Kildonan, including our old house on Fleming, and Grandma & Grandpas place on Government. Although not a whole lot has changed, its always interesting to see it again.
We went to Rick & Barb’s for a BBQ with his kids (Jeremy & Montana, Matthew & Shy). Dinner was good, and the A/C works great! Oh yeah!.
Afterwards we popped over to Uncle Bill & Aunty Chris’ place for a visit, and to drop off a few items we had for them. All in all our time in Winnipeg was good, and even the mosquitoes were acceptable this time.
