It’s calling for rain here starting tomorrow, so we got in some outdoor activities today.

From our campground we biked up the Lion’s Gate Bridge and went across to Stanley Park.  We made our way through the park and over to the Science Centre.  There’s a dedicated bike trail the whole way there, although weaving our way through lots of other cyclists was a bit of a challenge at times (for me, anyways).  From there we biked back through the park, and headed to the trailer.

After a quick bite to eat, we packed up the dogs and drove to Lighthouse Park. We’d never been there before, and thought it was a pretty park.  It sort if reminded me of Ellison Park in Vernon.  We saw the lighthouse from a distance, and took a little rest there on the rocks.

From there we hiked back up to the truck, and drove back to the trailer.

We dropped the dogs off and headed over to North Vancouver for dinner.  We quickly checked out Lonsdale Quay Market.  I had been there before in the 10th grade, and it was pretty much the same as I remembered.  Unless we missed something, we didn’t find it overly interesting.

After that we took the tour down Hastings Street, and that too is unfortunately the same every year.  It only gets worse.  Now we’re back at the trailer and ready to kick back and relax for the rest of the evening.
