We got out of Castlegar this morning around 9:00. \u00a0The weather was mostly sunny with some clouds. \u00a0Between Castlegar and Grand Forks there was a lot of climbing, as well as a pretty good hill heading down.<\/figure>\r\n

We stopped in Greenwood for some snacks at the bakery, and just by chance a long time family friend, Zoanne (Zoey), was standing in line behind us! \u00a0I always think of her when we go through Greenwood, but never actually thought I\u2019d see her. \u00a0We had a quick conversation, I got to introduce Rob to her, then we continued on.<\/p>\r\n

The Boundary Country is so pretty. \u00a0It\u2019s a lot like home, actually, only prettier (to me anyways). \u00a0We gassed up in Rock Creek, then headed for Osoyoos.<\/p>\r\n

The highway going down into Osoyoos was very windy, full of switch backs. \u00a0We were able to stop at a pullout above the city to get a couple pictures. \u00a0The view from up there was great!<\/p>\r\n

We stopped in Hedley for a moment to let the dogs out, and grab a picture of the mine at the top of the mountain. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n

We finally pulled into the Princeton Golf Club RV Park around 2:30. \u00a0Rob waisted no time setting up a tee time. \u00a0I think we were out there by 3:30! \u00a0He had a rough start with the first 9 holes, then nearly took out a guy sitting at the edge of the 10th fairway. \u00a0His ball took a wicked bounce back off of a tree, and it sounds like it hit the guy in the back of the head. \u00a0All was fine though; he wasn\u2019t mad or anything.<\/p>\r\n

Rob found this course a bit challenging, with lots of hills and dog ears, but it\u2019s a pretty course and he enjoyed the challenge. \u00a0He said he liked the back nine more than the front.<\/p>\r\n

Our neighbors next to us told us there was a bear wandering around the campground while we were gone. \u00a0It turns out we just missed it on the course, because the group ahead of us apparently saw it on the 18th hole. \u00a0He was probably right near us when we finished up, and we didn\u2019t even realize it. \u00a0Hopefully we\u2019ll spot him tomorrow and get a picture!<\/p>\r\n

We did a quick trip into Princeton looking for propane, but with no luck. Hopefully the fireplace will keep the trailer warm enough through the night. For the rest of the evening we just stayed in the trailer and watched some T.V..<\/p>\r\n
