This morning we woke up to a pretty chilly trailer. \u00a0We ran out of propane the night before last, and waited until Princeton to fill the tanks. \u00a0That was a bad decision as the only place in town was already closed by the time we got there last night. \u00a0Rob went to the station this morning and they were still closed, but fortunately we were able to get them done later in the day.<\/p>\n
We did a round of golf before noon so Rob could redeem himself after his less than great performance yesterday. \u00a0I bundled up in layers and a blanket, and Rob had a better game this time around. \u00a0It did start to rain a bit while we were out, but it wasn\u2019t too bad.<\/p>\n
Afterwards we grabbed the dogs and went for a drive to Manning Park. \u00a0It\u2019s about an hour from Princeton towards Hope. \u00a0The weather was super rainy, so riding our bikes was out.<\/p>\n
We checked out a campground in the park, then drove up to Cascade Lookout. \u00a0It went high above the park, up a road full of switchbacks. \u00a0The views were amazing up there, but it was windy and freezing cold! \u00a0I said if it was any colder I\u2019m sure it would have been snowing. \u00a0It would have been great to visit on a clear day.<\/p>\n
On the way back we spotted a truck on the side of the road with his hood up. Rob felt bad that we didn\u2019t stop, so we went back to see if the guy needed help. He said his truck broke down and wouldn\u2019t start again, and he was in an area with no cell service. \u00a0We offered him a ride to Princeton, but he wanted to stay with his truck because he was in the process of moving, and all his stuff in it. \u00a0He popped his canopy door to show us, I guess in case we didn\u2019t believe him. \u00a0We went ahead and called a tow truck once we were in service again. \u00a0Hopefully it showed up for the poor guy.<\/p>\n
For the rest of tonight we\u2019re just hanging out in the trailer with the pups. \u00a0Gotta get that heat going now that we have propane!<\/p>\n
